In March, China Energy Huanghua Harbour Administration Co., Ltd. (Huanghua Port) handled 19.31 million tons of coal shipments, marking a 3% year-on-year increase. The port also recorded a historic high in coal unloading for the same period, reaching 19.37 million tons.
As a pivotal hub for west-to-east and north-to-south coal distribution, Huanghua Port has leveraged its integrated "coal-power-transport-port-shipping" ecosystem to enable real-time operational coordination with upstream and downstream partners. By implementing an optimized production framework emphasizing "precise coal preparation, rapid unloading-loading cycles, and cargo dispatch-driven efficiency", the port ensured seamless coordination across coal sourcing, port operations and vessel scheduling. Notably, it maintained daily loading volumes exceeding 700,000 tons for 11 consecutive days, with 63.6% of dispatched coal transported beyond regional boundaries.
The port strengthened collaboration with local authorities to enhance extreme weather response protocols. During March, it successfully managed two-way navigation for 157 vessels across 29 batches of 70,000-ton-class ships. Its intelligent weather warning platform effectively mitigated operational disruptions from five major windstorms, ensuring reliable and efficient energy supply chain operations.
